"Efficient and person centred"

For several weeks I have needed the ongoing help of the doctor and have been impressed by the reponsiveness, courtesy and efficiency of everyone involved in my care and treatment. I was particulrly impressed by the increased courtesy and effieicncy of staff in reception and commented to my partner that I wondered if the practice had introduced some training for these staff. They are the first point of contact for us all and no doubt faced with considerable pressure at times but it makes a huge difference to the patient experience to have them being as helpful as I have found them recently. I was able to see the same GP, or when seen by someone else for assessment, the findings and treatment plan were discussed giving me confidence that decisions were made with full knowledge of my experiences. The practice provides a facility for repeat prescriptions which is also helpful and is proactive in relation to preventative measures such as flu vaccination. I feel very fortunate to be a patient here.
