"Parkinson's medication delay"

About: Conquest Hospital / Neurology

(as a relative),

My Mother was admitted to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings after several falls in one day and breathlessness which had been going on for a few months. Pulmonary embolisms were diagnosed.

The falls knocked Mum's confidence and mobility but we, the family, feel she was kept in longer than necessary and we feel that it is because the "care" was in our opinion so poor ie. not monitoring her food & fluid intake properly and not giving her Parkinson's medication on time (twice they ran out of it!), she deteriorated and in March had to go in to a home.
