My partner went to the George Clare surgery and was diagnosed with a chest infection. The doctor prescribed antibiotics which didn't really do anything, she started getting short of breath and chest and back pain so tried to see a doctor again to be told sorry we have no slots available, you'll have to go to the walk in centre at Doddington.
On arriving at Doddington the receptionist said we only deal with minor injuries here they really shouldn't have told you to come here.
The nurse practitioner assessed her anyway and told her she needed to go to A&E now and if I hadn't have been with her would have called an ambulance there and then.
After various blood tests, an ECG, and X-ray was diagnosed with probable Deep Vein Thrombosis!
Well done yet again George Clare Surgery.
