About: Fairfield General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I had Total Knee Replacement surgery yesterday (13/03/2018) at Fairfield and was admitted to Ward 9. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff on the ward, especially two nurses.

They were very professional in their jobs but also very humorous, put all the patients at ease ( even if I did bend their ears a bit !) and were fantasticall efficient while juggling so many patients.

I hope these two nurses receive the recognition they deserve.

It was pleasing to learn that you felt fully involved in your care and that you were well looked after by the staff.

I know the ward 9 staff take great pride in their patient care and will be happy to find out what a positive experience you had.
