"emergency fitting of pacemaker"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Cardiology

I arrived on Taw ward Sunday 21st Jan and was waiting to have a pacemaker fitted but it couldn't be done on the Monday due to an emergency, Monday night my heart was worse than the Sunday night, even though I didn't understand how serious it was and the staff didn't seem to understand that I felt OK in myself they looked after me really well, At one stage one of the staff sat down and explain all about the hearts electric system because I asked, on leaving on the Tues it felt like leaving a hotel on holiday when you have got friendly with some of the staff.
