"Appalled"

This evening 23/2/18 I turned up at this surgery as a total stranger to it, I had an appointment with my Mothers GP, which in the first instance, may I say,

I had to wait 3 weeks for. On arriving at 5.55pm for a 6.10pm appointment, I was nice and early. On entering the waiting room 3 other persons were sat in what I presume was the waiting room, no one was on the reception desk, I stood for 5 minutes presuming the receptionist had gone off some where, no one arrived so I sat on one of the seats and waited to be called. In the 25 minutes I waited, not a single person went behind that reception area. At 6.25 someone appeared when another person rang what I presume was some kind of intercom or bell, I waited until the person was served and then went to ask how long I would be waiting. The First Lady I spoke to, even though I clearly said my appointment was 6.10 must have presumed that as the time now was 6.30 that I was late, she informed me the GP may no longer see me, I was horrified, she said she would speak to her colleague ? The colleague then arrived, and they had both presumed I was late, when I stated I had been there since 5.55pm, she declared in a rather arrogant tone, that I should of rang the bell, she was not only arrogant but down right rude, I am not a patient in your surgery, I hadn't noticed or seen a bell, I had no idea you could self register to say you were there ( we have human beings behind reception in my surgery) she then proceeded to say she would have to see the doctor to see if he would still see me, at this point I had absolutely had enough and told her not to bother,

I would re arrange the appointment and that if this was their treatment of Patients families then they should be downright ashamed. The staff here really need to take a course in customer service, if there was no other GP Surgerys on this planet I wouldn't register here, your service is appalling
