"Extremely badly managed practice"

About: Willesborough Health Ctr.

- 9 times out of time you are presented with a rude and impatient receptionist. The hiring process for this should be reviewed immediately and staff management practices around communication handling should be implemented. Receptionist seem to barely have the correct administration skills required to do the role and often the patients are advising receptionists on how to handle a query.

- Phone lines are constantly engaged or never answered if you continue to ring for an extended period of time

- As a patient you can login to myGP app but it's rendered useless if the practice is citied as 'having not made an appointments available via myGP'. The practice is implementing new handling as of the 16th March yet fails to get the myGP functionality in place to streamline patient self management.

- The quality of GP's is questionable, where it can range from a GP just going through the motions and not acting proactively to diagnosis issues quickly to GP's not knowing how to make specialist referrals (handling of this seems new and alien to them). GP's are reluctant to help even when requesting to have a private referral done, citing all routes are exhausted yet patient is willing to pay to have full MOT style approach taken. GP's are making mistakes in the detail passed to hospitals, relieing on patient understanding.
