"The staff working in the cashiers office"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

I try to be respectful and polite to everyone after all manners cost nothing.

But I just want to let the hospital know about a department with in the hospital that go beyond working at a job.

I’ve only recently became ill. I got very depressed about it and went into a dark depression and wouldn’t talk to anyone.

My family became very worried and I just got worse.

The 3 ladies in the cashier department are so amazing and they all care even when they are short staffed, I know at times they are spoken to badly by people who cannot get money they believe they are entitled to. No one deserves to be spoken to with disrespect they work very hard to make sure patients on low benefits can get to hospital.

I try to get them the odd box of chocolates or cake, but they deserve more than just me getting them something, they deserve recognition publicly printed in the hospital magazine or their manager making sure they are commended for the work and care they give to everyone.

These ladies are angels they always ask me how I am feeling and if I’m getting any better.

More people should remember to say thank you to them.

Not just demand money and moan at them for having to wait outside, it’s done for privacy and so the patient can put their money away.

I think these ladies deserve a medal, and thank you’s all day long.

Everyone remember them what would we do without them to help us all.

So if ever you feel like moaning at them please don’t these ladies have hearts and only here to help all of us
