I am currently enjoying my placement. I was placed in the community of Wansworth for my first placement. The staff are very nice and supportive of me. If I have questions they are always happy to provide answers. I have no issues or trouble establishing good relationships with them as they are easy to approach and are professional in their conduct.
This is such a good learning opportunity for me. Having background in an in-patient ward, I have always wondered what it's like to work in the community. And I have always wondered what patients are like in their own home. Working for Wandsworth Early Intervention Service has just given me that opportunity. And I'm loving it. there are times when I've actually met previous inpatients in their own home. And hey're always glad and happy to see me. It's a nice feeling to be recognised and to be acknowledged for the help I have provided them.
