"Overlooking patient care and symptoms - negligence"

About: Portsdown Group Practice

I've been in a number of times to Portsdown group practice the Crookhorn practice for an occurring reason, and despite how many times i go, my problems get ignored and overlooked. I had blood test results and kept phoning to get them back and kept being told a doctor will be contact, a month later after ringing every week they phoned me saying they have lost my blood test results and i needed new ones! After getting new bloods taken, they were put up on their new online service showing results of a condition saying a doctor will be in contact but i had to ring up myself and even when i did they said i shouldn't worry about the results.

Despite the blood test results stating i have polycystic ovarian syndrome and i have all the over signs- including not having a period for 7 months now!!! (not pregnant, take a test every time to prove that to the doctor), the doctors just disregard my symptoms and blame it on being on the pill when i was younger. Still nothing is being sorted and i think it is completely unacceptable and disregarding the patient, complete negligence, which i feel is happening just because i am younger. Needs investigation!

We agree that an investigation is required, to do this you need to contact us directly following our complaints procedure, a thorough investigation can be carried out and we can then provide our findings.

We would however refute your point that being 'younger' is having any effect on how you are being treated by us.
