"thornbury hospital (sheffield)"

I have been a patient today for an endometrial biopsy, as I have never really encountered a private hospital before I had high expectations, Thornbury hospital unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations. The hospital seemed quite dated inside, old magazines in the waiting room, doctor was an hour late, nothing new there then, the nurse apologised but I just expected better I suppose. I was also not impressed about the environment I had the biopsy at all, I had a hysteroscopy last week at Jessops and the care there was excellent including the clinical area I had the procedure, I came away from Jessops extremely impressed. The biopsy at Thornbury was just as invasive (but much more painful!) and yet I was into a room which was like a room you would expect in a gp practice it wasn't where I expected the procedure to be taken place at all, I just expected a bit better I suppose.
