"Efficient ,waiting times long"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital / Accident and emergency

Visited here yesterday after being unable to get Dr appointment,must say was very reluctant to go,but felt so ill ,was seen quickly and all the things done before a long wait for a dr which I expected ,found drs ver efficient and thorough, better than would have been at my Gp.

Only one small observation and that is the girl who took the blood and ecg could have had a better patient communication,there was not any communication did what she had to do, without a word passing her lips, but if you are chewing gum the whole time I guess u can’t do that and speak at same time . Also was chewing gum walking around the department which I found to be unprofessional looking. A smile and a bit of small talk wouldn’t go amiss

Felt that she didn’t want to be there.

Other than that happy with the service, long wait but u have to be prepared for that, which I was.
