I recently went to the A&E department at Ayrshire Hospital concerned about what could have caused me to lose my sight for about 30 seconds. The young doctor, Olivia, was very thorough, answered all my questions without evading any of them. As they could not find any obvious cause for the incident I was advised to see the opthalmologist the next day.
Next morning I duly went along to the eye clinic where, again, a thorough examination was conducted with two people attending to me. Dr Koshi concluded there was nothing, at that moment that they could find that would have affected my sight but, concerned to get to the bottom of the problem, immediately referred me to the TIA clinic for me to be seen that same afternoon.
I cannot fault the efficiency with which I was dealt with at the hospital being referred from one department to another and being seen so promptly. They deserve top marks for their reassuring service.
"Efficient service"
