"Addmission to have a total knee replacement"

About: Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre

I would like to express my thanks to all members of staff for their demonstration of care, duty and diligence shown to me during my recent stay in the hospital.

The weather was bad enough to force many to remain in the hospital or in a near by hotel, in order to maintain the necessary nursing care required by many of us patients.

Throughout those few days, the staff maintained their humour and morale, which in turn did a lot for me and my fellow bed mates.

A sincere thank you again to you all and you are certainly the Company's greatest asset.

Dear Mr Donald

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent experience with us and for your kind comments regarding the dedication of the team. We agree, although the weather did present some problems, we were very lucky to have staff who willingly volunteered to stay in the hospital for several days to ensure we could continue to provide the exceptional care and support our patients deserve and have come to expect. All the team pulled together going over and above expectations to ensure both patients and other staff members were supported during this time and as you say, we recognise that they are our greatest asset. Once again thank you and I will ensure the whole team are made aware of your comment.

Kind regards
