I was referred to Ashford Hospital by my GP for a second trigger finger. I saw the Consultant on the Monday and on Thursday had a call to offer me an appointment for a guided steroid injection. I chose a 6pm appointment as the hospital is fairly quiet then.
When I was called in the sonographer recognised me from the previous time. She asked how it had gone and I explained I had quite a reaction after.
She proceeded, explained what she was doing every step of the way. She apologised if it was hurting and in all honesty, she could not have been kinder had I been her Mum! I’m very happy to report there was no reaction and my finger is much better, thank you x
Mention also goes to the Thursday eye clinic who are always happy souls!
Speed of appointments being offered, in my case, has been exceptional.
"Excellent"
