After being initially pleased with the friendliness and service on arrival I was left very disappointed by the lack of medical advice or treatment provided.
I managed to get seen really quickly, which was a definite bonus, but when I was seen by 2 health professionals st the same time, they seemed quite patronising and unable to listen to what I was saying.
It's very rare I ever seek medical advice or treatment and experiences like this make it even less likely for me to try in the future.
I have been suffering from flu for the past 10 days which I realise there's not any treatment usually to offer so I have tried to manage this myself without seeing a doctor or nurse.
However, as this has began clearing I have been left with excruciatingly painful headaches and ear ache and after three days of this thought I needed to get it checked in case I had some form of infection.
However, the personnel I saw seemed reluctant to listen to the symptoms I was telling them and as my flu is now beginning to clear up there was little wrong found with the standard temperature and blood pressure checks.
I left the walk in centre non the wiser feeling like I'd wasted everybodies time but worst of all with the same head and earache I went in with.
I realise that the NHS are overstretched and work hard to provide a service but would have just appreciated some useful advice or treatment.
"Left disappointed following lack of useful advice."
