"Short stay"

I was only in for a minor procedure but ended up having a cardiac arrest which involved me being taken to A and E and then for a night on the coronary Care unit.

I was resuscitated successfully and sent to A&E where they did tests before sending me to CCU. My care was good, dignified and top notch. I stayed overnight in CCU where all the staff were really pleasant and caring. I had cups of tea made for me at odd times and was washed and cared for. Although they wanted me to stay for further tests they respected my desire to go home and have the tests done later as an out patient. Full marks to all three departments involved.
