On the 12 th December 2017 at 11.30 am I was rushed to Bar Hill Maple surgery by my neighbours and my wife after I had a blackout / stroke / fall and non stop vomiting. My GP immediately took me in to his surgery. Within minutes I was treated and kept me under his observation for 3hours.within this time the nurses and staff with my doctor made me and my wife comforted and treated very compationately. After observatons my GP made quick arrangement to send me to A & E addenbrookes. He even arranged a taxi to avoid delays in ambulance at busy time of the year. The GP reports made a quick and prompt attention of the A & E staff. within 20 minutes I was given injections, drips, brain scan, x ray and diagnosed. The quick response and sensible treatment of my GP saved my life. when news media gives lot of negative publicity to NHS A & E department I srongly feel that is very unfair. A & E has to be commented instead for providing an excellent service despite added population, winter hazards etc .A&E later transferred me to a ward for further treatment. I wish to thank and pay my gratitude to my GP and a & E for saving my live, and wish all the best to NHS and employers.
"Our thanks to my GP and staff at bar hill maple..."
