"emergency"

I have an ear infection and two days ago the GP gave me some antibiotics that apparently are not suitble for my condition as I still have high temperature and pain in my ears. Today I called to know if the doctor could give a ring and after 2hours of no call I called back and the receptionist told me that I was in in the list and that the doctor would have called me soon. After more than 1h I called back and a new receptionist said that I was not in the list anymore, perhaps the previous receptionist lost my name....no idea how this can happe when everything is registered on a PC! so they put me back in the list and told me to stop ringing them as while i am in the list there is nothing else I can do!!! who knows if my name will be deleted again from the list!

I think I am going to change clinical practice as I am not paying taxes to receive this level of incompentece from doctors (who are not even able to treat an ear infection properly) and this lack of politeness from the receptionists.
