"Thank you to brillient team"

Thank you for the excellent care you gave to our father when he seriously damaged his hand recently. At 90 year old and suffering dementia Dad is easily distressed however all the team treated him with care, compassion and respect despite being really busy. Due to the nature of the injury the UCC were not able to complete Dads care on site. All efforts were made to avoid us having to attend ED, as we are advised to do unless absolutely necessary. The UCC booked an appointment for us with the Plastics team at the hospital to get the specialist care required. It all took time, effort and energy, it would have been really easy just to direct us to ED, but they did the best thing for dad and for the NHS. Special thanks to a particular member of staff for the care provided. You should all be really proud of what you do. Thank you all!
