"Emergency doctor appointment"

About: Latham House Medical Practice

Went to Latham house to see about urgent appointment at 08:25 . At reception I was directed to the emergency appointments area upstairs filled in questioner and had to wait approximately 10 mins before I saw a doctor 15 mins later I was having a blood Tes in the MTU. The I had to wait for the results. I was contacted by my GP by phone that afternoon to say I needed a heparin injection as I had high level of markers indicating I had a blood clot in my leg (DVT). After injection I was given all the paperwork to take to LRL for a scan the next day the confirmed I did have a DVT and was placed on the approat medication. A DVT is not the best thing to have in life but the service I had from thr staff at Latham house was second to none from the receptionists to the doctors and nursing staff. What a good system to have and to top it all it didn't cost me a penny. Well done Latham House.
