"Doctor Home Visit"

There have been so much negative media re GPs and obtaining an appointment.

So let’s give some positive news. My wife became poorly a week ago with the flu. After a sleepless few days I phoned the surgery Mon morning and the receptionist said a doctor would phone me and try to diagnose over the phone. It was decidedly to administer pain relief and if no improvement please phone the Doctor again.

This I did today at 8.30 am and a Doctor arrived at our house at 12.15 pm

My wife was examined and a further medication was prescribed.

Now if that’s very positive service if you ask me.
