"Practice is unprofessional and unable to get..."

About: Stoke Gifford Medical Centre

Been registered since 1989 but the last three years have been dreadful and have changed surgeries. Prescribed blood pressure pills which caused me severe breathing problems and voice very hoarse but only discovered it when the my prescription got messed up & out of tablets.

Last visit one of the doctors suggested sending me to speech thepathy ( 72 year old woman)!

Appointment system hopeless, and now a very unprofessional Practice and would advise not to register with this practice

I am sorry that you feel that you need to move surgery. I am not aware of the details of your clinical complaint but would be happy to investigate and respond to you.

We have worked incredibly to create an appointments system that is safe and that enables us to respond appropriately and quickly to the increasing demand that we are seeing.

We accept that it may not be to everyone’s liking but we continue to listen and look at how we can improve.

As a way of assessing our performance we conduct 50 random patient surveys per month and find that about 85% of responders would recommend the practice with the vast majority making very positive comments about the care that they have received.
