My mother has a severe urunary infection she is 78 and frail I called 111 on Thursday she was prescribed antibiotics for blood and protein in her urine
The previous week we visited the surgery and had 2 urine samples taken and we where told if there where any issues or signs of infection a prescription would be sent to the chemist to be delivered
5 working days after the surgery received the results they still hadn’t contact myself or my mother or sent the prescription
As she is unfortunately a frequent visitor for ongoing mainly age related issues I find this extremely alarming
Surely providing this type of basic treatment is a major part of the job description
Can never make an appointment on patient access so never see the same doctor twice very disjointed approach to patient care
"Not giving test results"
