"Stayed 4 days in Extended Care Unit after bowel..."

Made a quick recovery after major bowel surgery.

I believe this was helped by the many friendly and attentive staff who looked after me whilst I was in the recovery ward.

It is, however, slightly perplexing that one or two members of staff seemed less caring and attentive to patients needs than the majority of the teams.

I assume this could be just down to a "bad day" syndrome for those individuals - most likely brought about by the constant flow of patient's expressing their own bad days!

Nevertheless, this will undoubtedly impact a number of people's overall view of the care provided on the Ward.

I would also mention that the surgical team, along with their support, who undertook my operation were first rate from start to finish - something that undoubtedly facilitated my overall recovery.
