This hospital and staff receives poor criticism but in all my visits over the years the staff have been amazing BUT over worked and underpaid for keep us humans and well as possible.
Recently after an accident in November ‘17 and having my left foot crushed I have been treated by ambulance service, A&E staff, help and support from the Shangh Ward staff for 3 days, several trips to the fracture clinic, Orthopaedic staff were amazing, Aneasthetist dept were helpful and fantastic. I cannot rate this hospital high enough.
Complainers need to remember that the staff there are doing the best they can in a VERY TOUGH profession who are over worked and underpaid for the in-depth job they do.
If you think they do a bad job...... train and do it yourself and show how good you think you are and get the reality check you need. No one is perfect and genuine mistakes can happen.
ALL the staff have been amazing and don’t get told enough just how good they are. If this message could be passed on and tell them my name is Mathew Jones, car hit me on rememberance Sunday ‘17 while I was on my motorbike and that I am so grateful for all the help I have received from the varying departments.
Thank you all again for the help you have given me and the ongoing treatment I am still getting.
Kind regards
Mathew.
