"Antidepressants"

About: Devon Square Surgery

I have had several bad reactions from taking several different types of antidepressants over the past couple of years as it came to light that in March 2016 I was diagnosed with a complex chronic illness with no known cure.

I have tried an alternative therapy of my own choosing but this is not a long term fix, & I still find myself needing an SSRi, I am dubious about taking certain antidepressants but realise due to my illness I do need to take something regularly to stop me from crying on a regular basis & help towards my pain.

I am sorry to hear that you are suffering with these reactions. Could I suggest that you contact the surgery so that we can organise a consultation with your doctor to discuss the reactions. Mike Stewart - Practice Manager
