Had an evening fall in Morwenstow resulting in a fractured Humorous which I am told was quite severe.
Was taken by Ambulance which came from Bude. Absolute top guys , reassuring , confident and managed pain superbly. ( They even popped in to check on me later in the night when they had brought in another patien. thats what I call caring)
Staright to bay 7 I think in A dn E . Again caring and sypathetic treatment with even a little humour to relax things. Xray depy again the same
Overnight on day case wardand pre and post op again faultless caring and almost dare i say a pleasant experience. Little things over and above like helping my visitors with advice on parking etc.
Aneathatists and others actuallu bringing asmile to my face as iw went to theatre.
Sorry if I have misssed anyone out but a wonderfully consistant culture of caring and talented staff .
The evening cleaners in the day case unit even had time for a chat as they worked.
Final x ray before i left was again superb attitude.
Of course I must mention also the quality of the operation to rpair my arm which seems to have been a complete success
I wish I knew more of the names of the people who treated me so I COULD MAKE MY THANK YOUS MORE PERSONAL
"Teamwork at uts best"
