I came this morning to the walk-in clinic with sever pains - I won’t go into the details as it’s not pertinent to this review.
Whilst getting me seen swiftly was no issue whatsoever, it was the harsh treatment I got when seeing the nurse that made this experience really unpleasant. When describing my pain and symptoms she told me what she thought I had and was weirdly sarcastic anytime I tried to tell her that the pain was more serious. I was in agony whilst she said “oh so you’re a doctor now”. I can’t really believe it.
On another occasion, I warned her that I become very faint when my blood pressure is taken and have fainted multiple times before. She seemed to find this ridiculous and unbelievable. Everything I said she began to question. She even said ‘you don’t even know where your urinary tract is’.
I can’t really believe this. I’m finally at my GP and know I can’t get worse treatment than the Soho clinic. I won’t forget it either - she’ll see 80+ patients a day but I’ve seen one of her, and that’s the worse experience I’ve had with th NHS to date.
"Disappointing"
