Today, I had occassion to visit the accident and emergency.
I sat there for 2 1/4 hours with my wife who was in excrutiating pain from a swollen foot that caused her all sorts of problems.
I then asked when my wife was to be seen and was told there was one patient in front of her.
An hour went by and I approached the reception and was told she was now forth on the list and would not be seen in the forseeable future.
At no time in this period did anyone even see my wife or enquire about the pain she was in.
There was no information forthcoming and I consider this to be a total waste of time and money.
