"Life changing made easy"

Diabetes has been an ongoing battle for years, then I was seen at Sunderland Royal at the specialist unit. (don't ask me to spell its actual name... :) I was met by a lovely consultant who took my history, and reassured me that things were going to change. I was then prescribed insulin. I could have cried. But I didn't know if that was happy or sad tears. Then moved on to see nurse specialist, she was outstanding!!!! She explained everything, showed me how to inject. Got me to do my 1st injection in clinic, then gave me a bag full of tips and tools. I drove home and my life began to change (for the better) my nurse specialist then rang me a couple of times a week to check how my numbers were, reduced calls to once a week then fortnightly... Excellent service at the diabetic clinic. Fantastic staff, weight, bloods staff make yiu feel relaxed too. Very very supportive environment. 10/10
