"long waiting times unhelpful consultant"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I have had chronic facial pain for two and a half years and am trying to get a diagnosis as I have no pain relief at all at the moment. I have been to this hospital three times for help at the oral and maxialliory facial surgery department and they have not found out what is wrong with me yet. I had a dental x ray and am still awaiting a diagnosis as the person in charge is on long term sick leave so I have to go up again to the hospital in April. I am trying to cope with this pain by seeking the help of my gp but the pain persists. I just felt I waited too long to be seen and other patients including police with a prisoner got seen before me. This hospital is small and lacks adequate staff with knowledge.
