About: University Hospital Monklands / Urology (Ward 6)

(as a relative),

My husband, was recently in Ward 6 of Monklands Hospital and when discharged was not given a discharge note. On going to Dr for medical certificate we had to contact Paul in Miss Reid’s office and he went out of his way to help get matter resolved. He accessed what was needed and faxed to our Dr in Motherwell to enable my husband to get the correct documentation for his work.

The staff in Ward 6 were great and Paul really saved the day.  Please pass on my thanks to Paul for his help in this matter.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your husband's experience in Ward 6 and the help you received from the ward staff and from Paul, in Miss Reid's Office.

It can be a worrying time being in hospital and I am sure not having the right paperwork when your husband visited his GP would only have added to this. I am pleased that Paul,was able to sort this out for you and will make sure that your thanks are passed on to Paul and the staff in Ward 6.

I hope your husband is recovering well after his stay in Hospital.
