"GON Block experience"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust / Neurology

I visited the walton center on 16/2/18 And the neurologist i was suppose to see had rang in sick.Firstly i was agitated and annoyed wondering what was going to happen with my appointment with travelling from north wales for the appointment, i was pleasantly surprised when the issue was resolved quickly.

Firstly the lovely lady in the waiting room helped us all the way through, by keeping me informed about what was happening. I was then refereed to the sid watkins building to go forward with my treatment. I was sent to see a nurse to have my GON block and i was made to feel more than comfortable, he was informative, listened and reassuring. And i could not thank him enough as i also found out he had come off break early to see me.

I am thoroughly pleased with my experience at the walton cenetre and could not ask for a better hospital to visit.
