"Cataract Operation"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Ophthalmology

I had a cataract operation 4 weeks ago.

The staff were very nice . Nothing was too much trouble with their explaining it.

I was kindly treated in the operation room and felt very reassured.

I was really looked after before the operation and after.

A wonderful job was done on my eye. Fantastic sight in it now.

Didnt realise how good it would be and I am thrilled.

I now await the other eye to be done and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I dont have to wait too long as I know I shall have perfect sight when its done.

Dont be afraid of the operation.

It is very quick and does not hurt one bit. The results are amazing.

You could not be in better hands.

Thank you to my surgeon.

Thank you for posting your comments about your recent cataract surgery. It is good to hear that you had a really positive experience throughout and most importantly that the outcome has been so good. Thank you for providing reassurance to others awaiting surgery as I know that many people are apprehensive about the procedure. I trust that your next operation will be equally successful. I will share your kind comments with all the team involved.
