"Excellent maternity care"

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

I was induced with my 3rd baby as she had stopped growing properly. I felt so informed and nothing was too much trouble even though the ward was really busy. My midwife Claire on ward 17 was great and explained everything and made my and my husband feel so at ease.

Nothing happened that first day but through the night I got sore and started to labour very fast.

The unit was very busy but I was never made to feel like a burden or too much work. All of the midwives made me feel like a priority and that I mattered. I can not thank them enough.

Lesley Claire and Claire were brilliant and I will never forget you x
