"ACU & A&E"

Following a referral from my GP to ACU I have just spent a couple of hours in the department, although transferred to A&E as they were short-staffed.

I cannot thank or praise the staff enough for their professionalism, care and treatment.

Although I had suffered chest pains and put it down to indigestion my GP insisted I went for further checks.

The doctors and nurses were second to none and carried out an ECG, chest x-ray and blood tests within an hour and a halfI

I was lucky - a false alarm - but the care and concern was as though it was serious.

Thank you Watford General - you are "simply the best"!!
