During periods when I received inpatient treatment I was support well following treatment. Although on one occasion a nurse removed my pillows from my bed while I was still in hospital stating that I did not need them as I was going home. I did not go home and was quite unhappy. In patient treatment fab, consultants are under pressure to see every one; that comes with the job. Outpatients is awful, I travel for 3 hours to see my consultant and 95% of the time I see his understudy. I'm nervous and feel my concerns and pain are pushed to one side. Post-op visits have never been within the recommended time.
On one occasion I overheard staff talking about me and my condition stating I had inflated the effects. Why would anyone want to do this? Now I am suffering so much and am unable to ease the pain I have in anyway.
Beware of outpatients, you can not always get the support.
"Fantastic treatment during In-patient time"
