My partner has a mental health illness and has been a patient in West Park, while he was a patient the staff were great though he was allowed to come home when he was still not well and we were told the day he was coming home he was being discharged!! Surly we should all be in the meeting to discuss it when it involves a whole family including children.
But more recently Twice I have rung the crisis team to be told were not a blue light service if your concerned ring the police! And what do you want us to do???
It’s a crisis and we’re being let down by the professionals who are always saying your not alone if you need us call us.
What’s the point in calling when you get that response
I feel we’ve been let down as a family and the health of us all is suffering because no one is actually there to help or advise when it’s needed the most, I feel like we’re left to ‘get on’ with it ourselfs were alone because he has a ‘good support’ network, only he now doesn’t as I feel unable to cope with it all. what is the crisis team actually there for if there not even giving any advise but to ring the police?
I’m so disappointed
