About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as the patient),

I had attended outpatients Hairmyres for a surgical consultation.

the staff in the department were lovely.  The doctor I saw on the other hand, Rude with a  capital everything.  I felt doctor poo-poo'd my concerns as insignificant.  Their attitude left a lot to be desired.

I felt as if the doctor he did not want to be there or see me.

 after my appointment I was told told to go see my GP for medication and if the GP felt I needed it they could re-refer me? this baffled me obviously my GP already though I should be seen  was the doctor just in a bad mood this day ?

I have been back to my GP and asked to be referred to Wishaw instead
