Firstly I would like to say the receptionist and scanning baby specialist consultants where lovely on all occasions upon our visit to Bolton Royal. The extended services attached are Bolton midwifes and Walkden gateway antenatal teams are falling pregnant women in my experience. So many errors in my care and I’m only 25 weeks!
Ecoli infection not checked up on, Wigan and Leigh admitted me to sort it out.
Misinformed by midwifes over appointments
Questioned over why I wasn’t having an abnormally scan
Consultant appointments didn’t know why I was there for meeting arranged by midwife and hadn’t asked for a copy of my previous birth notes.
Midwifes didn’t know about my admittance to hospital for ecoli infection at Wigan and Leigh or specialist scans on my babies brain at Bolton hospital.
Delays in referral to another hospital and no birthplace still in place at 25weeks. Very disappointing overall and don’t appreciate managers ringing to push blame onto each other rather than just help me get referred elsewhere. Save the politics, we are talking about little people being born here!
