About: Stonehouse Hospital

(as a relative),

I am very grateful for the care received by my dad during his stay here until he passed away. The staff are dedicated to keeping their patients comfortable and happy, no matter what that takes they will go out of their way to make it happen.

They also consider the family , we were treated with kindness and the staff were always willing to talk to us about any concerns we had .

This was a very difficult time for us made more bearable by the kindness and affection shown to our dad. The positive attitude of the staff when dealing with dad made such a difference.

This is an amazing unit with wonderful staff. Truly an NHS success story. Other units could learn a lot from them about caring for the elderly while retaining their dignity.

We will always be in their debt.

Dear Mrs Knitter,

Thank you so much for sharing your reflections and kind feedback about our staff at Stonehouse Hospital.

We all strive to provide a person centered care which of course includes our relatives and carers.

The staff feel very strongly about care and acknowledge they are touching peoples lives and not just the patients.

I'm delighted to share your post with the staff and team at Stonehouse.
