"Wisdom teeth extraction under general"

I booked in at 11am today, 10th Feb, quite nervous really as I’d never had a general before and had heard many horror stories about extractions.

From the moment I arrived I was treated with nothing but respect, compassion and it was very clear that all health professionals were interested in my welfare despite being busy and were happy to answer my questions. For me, their engagement with my humour was key at putting me at ease. The entire team was excellent and proficient and I take my hat off too them.

They tell you what to expect and that’s what happens. Yes extraction hurts but you know, got to expect some pain.
