"Attendance at A&E"

About: Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

(as a service user),

Arriving at A& E 8. 30pm Friday night we were faced with a barrage of signage none of which directed us immediately to the area we required after asking another member of public we were directed to where we needed to be. From this point we were treated brilliantly. Each and every person we needed to meet introduced themselves clearly, my assessment was carried out with sympathy empathy I felt reassured. Radiology again were brilliant, proper introductions. Returning to A& E we were dealt with promptly. It was altogether a very good experience.

Thank you for leaving feedback and I am sorry that the signage was not helpful, this feedback will be shared with the relevant department. The staff in A&E will be really pleased to learn they were able to reassure you and that you felt well care for. They will really appreciate receiving this and be very encouraged by it.

With thanks and best wishes
