"Early Pregnancy Unit"

About: Queen's Hospital / Maternity care

I have never felt so undervalued in my life. Visited the EPU and was constantly made to feel as though I was an inconvenience for using the service ! When i first visited in Jan with concerns the lady convinced me to go home. This time i decided no I deserve to access the care offered. The lady said that the unit is for emergencies only. These people cannot determine whether my concerns or symptoms are urgent or not. Absolutely disgusting way to treat worried expectant mothers. You should be doing all you can to reassure patients and not undermine them. I am so disappointed as this is not what the NHS is about.
