I attended the ENT department today to have a doctor take a look at a possibly malignant growth on my neck, following a referral from my GP.
The waiting room was busy but not oppressively so.
The self-check in computer was quick and efficient and the nurse who greeted me to take in to see the doctor was friendly and polite.
I had to wait a little while past my appointment time to see the doctor, but I don't have a problem with that and can understand that sometimes earlier appointments can overrun.
The doctor I saw was extremely helpful and gave me a clear diagnosis which put my mind at rest.
From the length of time the referral took to the patient service in the department I am extremely grateful and impressed with how everything was organised.
Well done, and thank you to all of the people who have made it that way.
"Really pleased with how my appointment went"
