On the evening of Tuesday 23rd January I suffered extreme renal pain and an ambulance was required.
They arrived very quickly.
They were very professional in their care for me, and kept my wife informed at all times.
A second ambulance attended and they too were very supportive.
They were very good at monitoring and managing my pain.
I was taken to the JR A&E department, where all the staff that I came into contact with treated me kindly and with dignity, in a professional manner.
I was taken for a scan, and diagnosed quickly with kidney stones.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the care shown to me by all levels of staff during my visit.
From arrival to discharge, I was only there for about fours in total.
The post care support has also been superb.
I have an appointment for follow up treatment two weeks after my initial episode.
I cannot thank all the staff enough who helped me through this very painful time.
"Excellent ambulance and A&E staff"
