"Not good enough for my care"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have had 3 MRI scans and a CT angiogram over the last 6 months. I have not been informed once of any of the outcomes apart from to say I needed yet another one as a diagnoses could not be reached from the previous one's, this is for a mass that has grown on my already osteoarthritic spine. I have tried for months to chase up the results of the scan myself but got nowhere, so have had to now get in touch with the care commissioning group to help me get the results I so desperately need. I believe this is just not good enough as if it is something sinister then it has had free reign in infect/grow for over 6 months now with no firm diagnosis.  I think it is ridiculous that you can be left so long with no results and with a team that would not tell you anything about YOU. Also I think the waiting times in clinic are unnecessary I have had to wait for at least 7 hours before today, and never have I had an appointment that has not been less than a 3 hour wait. I am now going to ask to be referred to a different hospital altogether as this really is not good enough for my health and the stress and anxiety is really getting to me now.

Update posted by Suesec (the patient)

Already been through complaining to pals back in November and still got nowhere. I have since had to get in touch with the care quality commission who are now looking after my case. Yet again let down by the Royal.
