Thank you DCH. You have saved me from breast cancer, given me back my mobility after a broken hip followed by a hip replacement op and now they have saved my eyesight with cataract surgery.
The Consultant went out of his way to cope with my severe astigmatism. I would only suggest that patients should be advised that after an op to remove s severe cyst from the throat not to use ibuprofen pain killers which caused a severe bleed and he was rushed back in as an emergency.
Also some nurses could be a bit more sympathetic but they are doing a hard, often unappreciated job.
But most are wonderful. Also could not the ridiculous fees paid to private agency staff to cover absences be better spent paying nurses and bank staff a bit more to encourage more recruitment hank you again.
"Thank goodness for the NHS"
