I broke my ankle in May 2017, was put in a moon boot at the QA Hospital, Cosham. My insurance provider requested me to have an injection to prevent blood clots before I flew back home. I visited my parents GP at Westlands Medical Centre, Portchester, who were beyond helpful. I was due to fly the following day and they ‘squeezed’ me in to see both doctor and nurse. The receptionist/secretary was so helpful as I was a little stressed as I was being told not to fly without injection from my insurance company. The doctors agreed to the injection, prescribed it and then I was shown how to inject myself. I cannot truely express how grateful I am for their professionalism and kindness at this difficult time. I can only apologise for the delay in writing up this report. Thank you everyone at the surgery.
